My favorite time of year is almost here and I swear I’ve never been so excited. With fall comes less bugs, less sweat, less irritation… oh and changing leaves, hayrides, corn mazes, pumpkin picking, Halloween stores and costumes, and HALLOWEEN DECORATING!
I may be crazy, but my favorite part of fall (other than the weather cooling down) is getting to decorate my house and classroom, but costumes and eat candy, and bond with my kids about all things spooky. I’m not sure why, but it gives me a whole new sense of joy and keeps the seasonal depressies away for a bit longer.
Something that we love doing for Halloween and other holidays are these cute and silly advent calendars. It gives the kids something to look forward to each day of the month and it is such a simple and fun way to play with your kids.
